S1-23 : THRILLER PROJECT 2007/8

S2 58 feedback

a very good, we like the knife mystery. as it makes you think why didn't she take the knife with her and then when it goes missing it keeps the audience wanting to know more and gives the impression that something bad is going to happen. the use of the blood at the end title was also very effective as it gives a sense that its her blood dripping. Overall a very good Thriller :D

Feedback

-could have had a variety of shots
-music could have kicked at a point of shock
-titles could have been in varied places of the screen. it looks too neat
-the lighting is slighty too bright, it could have been a little darker to make it more eerie
-music was good, tension building up to the death
-titles are a bit boring/plain. stalker title was good
-couldn't be professional-different shots, but angled missing, too much of medium shot used
-sort of a murder mystery, finding out who did it-rest of film
-editing quite simplistic, simple cuts etc
-good
-music, built tension well
-not much variation in camerawork
-fantastic!

editing

we still need to make the sound better, we put the calmer music we used in the animatic into the beginning of the sequence because the old music was too overpowering. We also need to make the titles further up on the screen otherwise it may get cut off when it is viewed.

title shot

the title 'stalker' was made using final cut express. the ''blood'' was filmed using a digital camera, we dripped the ''blood'' onto a piece of white paper so that we had a plain backdro to the dramatic looking ''blood''. obviously we didn't use real blood - we mixed several things found in the kitchen to make it look like blood.
